I founded Artig in New York in 2018 after more than two decades in interior design, architecture, product sourcing, curation, and manufacturing.
Over that time, I kept coming back to the same thing: lighting isn’t just another layer. It’s the thing everything else answers to. You can get everything else right in a space, and if the lighting is off, none of it lands.
That realization is what Artig is built on.
I design and build fixtures by hand, and restore vintage pieces with the same level of care. The older pieces carry something with them, material quality, yes, but also a sense of history that brings a different kind of richness to a space. That mix of new and old is what makes a space feel considered, not just assembled.
Everything is made with longevity in mind, objects meant to live with you for decades, not seasons.
